Why We're Needed

In most African communities, there is a tremendous amount of community pride. The people are not looking for a handout. They're looking for an opportunity to
better their lives on their own in a sustainable manner.

However, much of the population lives in small villages or in the bush, where access and transportation are limited. Although many individuals and NGOs are
willing to provide assistance, they will not travel to these rural areas without a facility in which their staff can safely operate and local residents can gather. BuildingAFRICA addresses these issues by building community centers and other facilities that offer secure and welcoming locations where the NGOs and other providers can deliver vital resources.

It is also crucial to have the right team managing these projects. People who are not only deeply committed to the cause, but who have experience in the region, knowledge of African governmental and tribal institutions, an understanding of how to work with rural communities, and the professional expertise to manage the overall project effectively. We bring all those resources together in a unique team focused on achieving a long-term impact.
